Sell Your Chametz Form

  • Since we can't own chometz on Passover, we have three options: Eat it, destroy it or sell it to a non-Jew.

Over the years, the practice arose to sell before Passover all chometz and then buy it back as soon as the holiday is over. This transaction must be legally binding according to both Jewish and civil law.

All forms must be completed by Tuesday, April 7th.

  • Delegation of Power for the Sale of Chametz
